PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Have you or someone you know heard these words? “Something is wrong with your child.” It might be physical, emotional, medical or behavioral but you feel alone and not sure where to turn for information or support.
The first Monday of every month, Christ Church sponsors a small group called Parents of Children with Special Needs which is open to anyone in the surrounding area. Led by parishioners Judy Murray and Jean Rhodes, this group is especially helpful when you first find out that your child has been identified with specific needs but also as you deal with medical or school system challenges once your child is diagnosed.
