Interfaith Hospitality Network

The Christ Church Social Justice Ministry is offering an opportunity to serve those in need through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) of Summit County. IHN is “a consolidation of faith congregations caring for families in need of shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance that leads them to secure a stable home environment.” IHN is unique in that it allows temporarily homeless families to stay together as a unit rather than being split between local men’s and women’s shelters.

Our neighbor, Hudson Congregational Church, is a host church to these families, providing services several times a year for one week at a time. The services include transportation, meals, lodging, fellowship, and homework assistance.

Please call or e-mail Pam Zuhl (330-650-5754 or zuhlfamily@aol.com) if you are interested in volunteering or for more information.
